# Editing or removing a user
**Note:** Only Admins can edit or remove a user's access to CareerPlug.

### Editing a user
To edit a user, navigate to your **Employees** page.

Find the employee who you want to edit and click their name, or click the **three dots icon** followed by **View Profile**.
If you don't see the employee you're looking for, you can use the search box in the top right corner to search by name.

On any tab you want to make changes on, click the **Edit** button in the top-right corner, and then make any necessary changes to the employee's information.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the **Save** (or **Update User**) button to update the tab.

If you switch tabs or leave the employee's profile before clicking **Save**, your changes will not be updated.
### Removing a user
There is no way to delete a user from CareerPlug completely. Instead, you must disable their access to your account.
To remove a user's access to the ATS, navigate to your **Employees** page.

Find the employee whose access you want to remove and click their name, or click the **three dots icon** followed by **View Profile**.
If you don't see the employee you're looking for, you can use the search box in the top right corner to search by name.

Navigate to the user's **Settings** tab and click the **Edit** button in the top-right corner of the page.

Scroll down to the Permissions section, and remove the user's access by clicking the **No Recruiting Access** bubble.

Scroll to the bottom of the drawer and click the **Save** button.

Then you need to navigate to the **Job** tab and click the **Edit** button in the top-right corner.

Scroll down to the Hire section and select Former from the **Status** drop-down, and then click the **Save** button.

### Editing or removing multiple users at once
With CareerPlug, you can easily take action on multiple users from your **Employees** page. With the bulk select option, you can change which manager or location they're assigned to or their employment status.
1\. Navigate to your **Employees** page.

2\. Click the checkbox to the left of whichever users you want to edit or remove.
3\. In the pop-up at the bottom of the screen, **Select an Action** using the drop-down menu. Regardless of which option you choose, a second drop-down menu will appear in the pop-up after making your selection.
- **Assign Manager**
- **Assign Status**
- **Assign Primary Location**
4\. Choose a new manager, status, or location using the second drop-down menu in the pop-up.
5\. Click the **Submit Change** button.
