How often to review and contact applicants
Reviewing and contacting incoming applicants daily is key to building a strong recruiting program because applicants who have applied to your CareerPlug posting are likely applying to open positions with other companies as well. Waiting a week or more to contact an applicant after they apply greatly increases the chances that the applicant will accept another position before you speak with them.
We recommend contacting applicants within 24 hours after they apply. When you are passively recruiting, set aside time at least once or twice per week to review and contact applicants.
