Notification settings for new applicants

In order for someone at your company to receive emails about applicants, you can either add them as a user to your account (they will be able to contact the applicant through CareerPlug) or adjust the notification settings on an individual job to send them emails (they will not be able to contact the applicant through CareerPlug).

To send emails about new applicants to someone at your company who is not a user in your account:

Note: You can send emails for each new applicant to users in your account, but external users can only receive a daily digest each morning with all new applicants from the previous day.

1. Navigate to your Jobs page.

2. Click the Edit button to the right of a job that you want to edit.

3. Click on the Hiring Settings tab.

4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and turn on the Email notifications to external users toggle.

5. Enter the email of the person(s) who you'd like to receive new applicant notifications.

5. Click the Update Job Post button at the bottom or top of the page.

Any external users added will now receive a daily digest with any new applicants from the previous day, but will not have the ability to log into CareerPlug or communicate with those applicants via CareerPlug.
