What is CareerPlug?

CareerPlug is a hiring software that helps you attract, communicate with, and evaluate applicants for your open positions, while automating as much of the process as you can along the way.

Follow these steps as you get started with your account to help maximize the benefits you receive from using CareerPlug.

Week 1: Attract Applicants

• Post your first job
• Brainstorm outside sources to increase your job visibility
• Ensure you configure your Careers page and connect it to your company website
• Watch these Getting Started videos to learn how to use your account

Week 2: Review and Evaluate Applicants

• Start reviewing candidates by filtering based on prescreen scores and other available filter options
• Make disqualified candidates Inactive and send them rejection letters. You can even configure your account to automatically send rejection letters to disqualified candidates.
• Move candidates through your hiring process: invite them to take assessments and begin scheduling interviews

Week 3: Continuing Reviewing and Evaluating Applicants

• Continue to move candidates through your hiring process
• Complete an interview scorecard or create your own interview scorecard
• Move applicants to Reference, Background Check, or Offer stages
• Move Applicants to your hiring pipeline

Week 4 and Beyond: Ongoing Recruiting

• Make a hire (and don't forget to mark the candidate as hired!)
• Run a report
